Kutless – Run

Als ich das Lied letztens hörte, habe ich bisschen mehr über den Text nachgedacht. Was motiviert mich in meinem Leben als Christ weiterzumachen? Was bringt mich dazu, mich in die Gemeinde, in die Jugendarbeit einzubringen?
Ich glaube, dass es einfach die Gemeinschaft mit Jesus selber ist. Denn gerade durch den Einsatz, durch den Dienst in der Gemeinde erlebe ich Jesus und komme ihm ein Stück näher.
Er allein ist meine Motivation, denn das was er für mich getan hat, steht in keinster Relation zu dem, was ich jemals für ihn tun könnte…

Wie schon weiter unten erwähnt, habe ich das neue Kutless album Hearts of the Innocent.

Ein Lied finde ich besonders hammer: Shut me out

Der Text ist richtig genial, vor allem der Refrain
